Privacy Policy

Communities and property managers (our “customers”) use GateWing to manage access to their properties. For residents and visitors, your community decides who is invited and which entrances they can use; we process that information on the community's behalf. If you have questions about a community's own practices, contact its management.

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, role, and the property or site you belong to.
• Visitor information: what a resident enters when inviting a guest, such as name, phone number or email, vehicle plate, and the visit window.
• Access activity: each attempt to enter, with the time, entrance, reader, credential, and whether it was allowed.
• Messages: a record of the codes, passes, and notices we send by email, text, or WhatsApp, and whether they were delivered.
• Technical information: IP address and browser details, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse.
• Inquiries: what you send us through our contact form or by email.

• To run the service: send invitations, verification codes, and passes, and check passes at entrances.
• To keep it secure: verify that a pass is opened by the person it was sent to, and detect misuse.
• To show communities their own activity, access logs, and audit trail.
• To provide support, bill customers, and improve GateWing.

We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only with:

• The community you are a resident of or visiting, whose administrators can see its activity.
• Service providers that help us run GateWing: Google Cloud (hosting and fonts), Emailit (email), and Telnyx (text messages and WhatsApp).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people's safety.

We use only the cookies the service needs: one to keep you signed in, and one that remembers that a guest has verified on their phone. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Guests and residents receive texts only because a community member or administrator added their number. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

We keep information while it's needed to provide the service to the community, as the community directs, and as the law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. If the information belongs to a community's records, we'll work with that community to respond.

Our Security page describes how we protect information. GateWing is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
