Terms of Service
These terms govern use of GateWing, the visitor access service provided by GateWing, Inc. (“GateWing”, “we”). By using GateWing, you agree to them. If you use GateWing on behalf of a community or company, you agree for that organization.

Who these terms cover
“Customers” are the communities, associations, and property managers that subscribe to GateWing. “Users” are the administrators, residents, and guests who use it through a customer. A customer's order form or agreement with us, if any, takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
The service
GateWing lets customers invite residents, lets residents send guest passes, and checks those passes at readers installed at the customer's gates and doors. We may improve and change the service over time; we won't materially reduce what a customer has paid for during its subscription.
Accounts
- GateWing is invite-only. Accounts are created by a customer's administrators.
- Keep your sign-in codes to yourself, and tell us if you think your account was misused.
- Customers are responsible for who they add, and for removing people who should no longer have access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, forward, copy, or sell a pass or credential, or help someone enter who wasn't invited.
- Get around verification, rotating codes, or any other security feature.
- Interfere with, probe, or reverse engineer the service or the readers, except as the law allows.
- Use GateWing to harass anyone, to send unwanted messages, or for anything unlawful.
Customer responsibilities
- Customers confirm they have the right to add the people they invite, and that residents and guests may receive the emails and texts GateWing sends on the customer's behalf.
- GateWing helps control who can enter, but it is not a guard service or a guarantee against unauthorized entry. Customers remain responsible for the overall security of their property.
Readers and equipment
Readers and edge appliances we provide are included with a subscription and remain GateWing's property. Customers agree to take reasonable care of them, give us reasonable access to install and service them, and return them when the subscription ends. One-time setup fees, where they apply, are quoted before you sign.
Fees
Customers pay the fees in their plan or order, billed monthly, including any extra access keys used that month. Fees are non-refundable except where the law or a customer's agreement says otherwise. If fees go unpaid, we may suspend the service after notice.
Messages
GateWing sends sign-in codes, verification codes, and passes by email, text, and WhatsApp. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
Your data
Customers own the information they put into GateWing. We use it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy, and protect it as described on our Security page.
Availability
We work to keep GateWing running, and offline edge appliances keep entrances working through internet outages, but we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Customers should keep a backup way to admit people, such as a key or an on-site contact.
Ending the service
Customers may cancel as their plan or agreement allows. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. When a subscription ends, passes stop working and equipment is returned.
Disclaimers and liability
Except as expressly stated in these terms or a customer's agreement, GateWing is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, GateWing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the customer paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell customers about significant changes before they take effect. Questions? Email [email protected], or [email protected] about plans and pricing.
